Materials: worsted Weight yarn, any color, size G or H hook, and A magnet
With Maine color (MC) ch 21 LOOSELY
Row 1: (Right side) Sc in second ch from hook and in ea.ch across: 20 sc. NOTE: Loop a short piece of yarn around any stitch to mark lat side as RIGHT side.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in first10sc, leave last ten sc unworked (TAIL): 10 sc.
Rows 3-12: Ch 1 turn; sc in ea. sc across.
Row 13: Turn; sl st in first 2 sts, ch 1, sc in same st and in ea. sc across to last sc, leave last sc unworked: 8 sc.
Row 14: Ch 1, turn; sc in ea. sc across to last sc, leave last sc unworked: 7 sc.
Row 15: Turn; sl st in first 2 sts, ch 1, sc in same st and in ea. sc across: 6 sc.
Rows 16-19: Ch1, turn; sc in ea. sc across
EARS: Ch 3, turn; dc in next sc (ear); finish off. Sk next 2 sc, join yarn with sl st in next sc, ch 3, dc in last sc (ear); finish off.
EDGING: With RIGHT side facing, join Contrating Color (CC) with sl st in any st, sl st evenly around the around entire Cat; join with sl st, finish off.
FINISHING: Weave in all yarn ends. Add a ribbon bow (if you want). Glue the magnet strip to the back.
